Henry Labuschagne: HO. You gave 10mg medetomidine and gave 5ml yohimbine/atipamezole thus 10mg atipamezole. I would give a minimum of 3mg atipamezole per mg medetomidine = 30 mg atipamezole. I would give 5ml yohimbine/atipamezole plus 20mg atipamezole. Give atipamezole slow iv or im to prevent drop in blood pressure and reduced cardiac output. HO Reuter: Good point. In retrospect you are right, Henry. Some of them have walked and travelled well with no reversal of medetomidine with yohimbine / atipamazole, so I probably was expecting all of them to react the same.
