There is not a MERS out in Southern Africa and I could not get records of its presence in Botswana. It’s a very isolated herd from a camel and cloven hoof perspective. I am adding tetanus as priority and am contemplating vaccinating against Pasteurella. However I get conflicting information on which vaccine to use. Camel pox seems to be a potential issue but there is apparently not a vaccine available.
