I am dealing with a 9 year old domestic elephant cow who was tusked in the caudal aspect of the ear, at point of attachment, with damage to retractor muscles so that the pinna is fixed forwards. Inevitably she's throwing dirt and water into the wound. Can one suture the pinna, through the full thickness of the ear, to the neck? Needs extensive drainage also. Thanks.
