Most of the dog dewormers are safe to use. The only drug I would be very careful using would be pyrantel pamoate (especially in cheetahs). Pyrantel is quite toxic, but the pamoate salt limits its oral bioavailability, making it safe. In animals with GIT inflammation there still may be significant absorption followed by signs of toxicity. The praziquantel/fenbendazole combinations are very safe for all species. If you use Dectomax for round worms then do not exceed 0.2mg/kg. Annie Mears : Thanks Adrian
