Paul Reynolds. Good morning everyone. Not the best picture maybe, but any ideas on this? Not an abscess. Quite hard, irregular/lobulated and infiltrates zygomatic arch and back of jaw. Treatment? Approximately 10y old lion. Adrian Tordiffe, [18 Mar 2023 at 11:10:35]: Salivary gland tumour if it is that infiltrative... Paul Reynolds, [18 Mar 2023 at 16:22:01]: Thank you. And usually not something to remove? Difficult with infiltration. Does it spread? Cause difficulty swallowing? Lion in poorer condition than others in the camp. Adrian Tordiffe, [19 Mar 2023 at 01:17:54]: Salivary adenomas and adenocarcinomas are pretty difficult to remove surgically. Radiation therapy is possible in some cases... But start with a deep biopsy though Paul Reynolds, [19 Mar 2023 at 13:21:36]: Thank you Adrian💪
