Ulf Tubessing, 22 July 2024 Good evening everybody! A client sent me these photos of a sable cow. I have never seen a typical hypersensitivity reaction in antelope before. From appearance I would guess allergic/hypersensitivity (as in pup with suspected bee sting) reaction). I see no sign of snake bite (unlikely at this time and with our snakes - puff adder or zebra snake - would expect asymmetric swelling with blood beads at bite site). Any pearls of wisdom?
