Ean van den Berg, [05 Mar 2025 at 12:58:29 PM]: Good day all, Has anyone used rafoxanide in wildlife (sable and roan) with good effect against wireworm? Alternatively, what product can you recommend that still works? We see major resistance towards levamisole, closantel, any macrocyclic lactones and even Trichlorfon. Monepantel still works well, we however only try using this in extreme cases. Neil Parsons, [05 Mar 2025 at 2:46:21 PM]: Have you tried Startect? I have used it in the UK in sheep a while back. It’s a derquantel and abamectin combination. Ean van den Berg, [05 Mar 2025 at 3:01:19 PM]: Hi Neil, yes, it works well in sable. We have had some issues in roan with ileus. Startect is not available at the moment as far as we have looked Neil Parsons, [05 Mar 2025 at 3:02:07 PM]: Good to know. Thanks!
