Agustina Fitte, 30 Dec 2024 Good day all, does anybody have experience with lick granulomas in antelope or deer? This case is the second Axis deer with this condition we have seen in the same enclosure. My first thought that it could be from the dart site, but the wound is on the back side of the perineal area. Any inputs will be appreciated. TIA. Roy Bengis, [30 Dec 2024 at 9:20:35 AM]: What about Habronema infestation of a wound? Agustina Fitte, [30 Dec 2024 at 10:21:51 AM]: Thanks Roy, I believe it could be possible; however, they are all in spotless condition. I will check her tomorrow. The wound was dry, no signs of infection or maggots and looks to be self-limiting. No ticks on the ewe either. Thanks for the input and happy new year 🎉✨
