Gareth Hunter: Hi guys. This may be a very silly question. Is it advisable to stay away from mixing medications in order to use only one treatment dart? For example, and antibiotic (let’s say Nuflor) and meloxicam for example. It appears to form a pretty immiscible mixture. I would assume this would affect absorption etc? I understand there are combination products like Resflor which would be ideal, but don’t have access to it at the minute. Henry Labuschagne: I think it is a bad plan, as it could form an abscess and compromise absorption. f you really need to, rather mix with Dexamethasone for anti inflammatory effect and add some DMSO. Paul Reynolds: CEVA makes a product called Zeleris. Its a florfenicol meloxicam combination with a 1ml/10kg dose.
