Zoe Glyphis, [19 Aug 2023 at 10:59:15]: I would appreciate any information if anyone has seen anything like this before: A perfectly normal kudu bull, still browsing normally this morning and then showed sudden hindlimb weakness and dropped dead. Haemorrhagic diarrhoea and blood was seen throughout the intestinal tract. The rumen has 60% karee leaves and a few Acacia pods Elmien Kotze, [19 Aug 2023 at 11:36:54]: Clostridial diseases would be high on my DD list. Acacia pods are very high in nutrients and can be enough to cause 'sudden' increase in better food or change in diet. And it is usually the best conditioned animals that are affected Roy Bengis, [19 Aug 2023 at 15:50:44]: Agree with Elmien, Clostridial red gut would be high on my DD list. Also, it is usually very acute.
