Seen this in rhino calves with severe (occasional haemorrhagic) diarrhoea. Metronidazole or potentiated sulphonamides are the drugs of choice - we had a very hard time treating. Frequent relapses and 1/2 calves died. On stained smear, many different morphologic forms. The 3rd photo shows easiest to ID
