Dose 0.2 to 0.5mg/kg - higher dose for longer transports and lower dose for boma adaptation. I give it IM immediately before giving reversal IM in crated cheetah and cheetahs going into bomas and leave them to wake up slowly. Same protocol and dose for wild dogs
