Neil Parsons, 9 October 2024 That’s predominantly for use as a single tranquillising drug during mass capture, sometimes in combination with 15-20 mg midazolam. I have used up to 120 mg WBP in those situations. Recently, I have only been darting and tranquillising subadult zebra. I reverse the medetomidine completely and only use 10-15 mg of azaperone. In those, I give 30-40 mg WBP. If you’re not reversing the medetomidine and using more azaperone, then probably good to be cautious.
