I have done quite a few camels recently. Basically used roughly two weight estimates : 400kg: Medetomidine 45mg, butorphanol 20mg, ketamine 1000mg 600kg: Medetomidine 70mg, butorphanol 30mg, ketamine 1000mg You have a few minutes to be able to herd them in the direction you want. They also eventually rope down very nicely and the anaesthetic is very stable. Have had some down for about 45 min to an hour.
