I have used in zoo enclosures butorphanol 0.1 mg /kg plus medetomidine 0.03mg/kg plus ketamine 5 to 10 mg /kg. Worked well for castration - this gives you 45 minutes, can top up the ketamine if longer. Do not reverse the medetomidine immediately - wait and if still deep after 50 minutes, then reverse.
