Once down, the breathing is great - there is no use to reverse anything quickly - you have lots of time for procedures or placing ropes, and good for attending to dystocia. Reverse 1:1 atipamezole / yohimbine mix to medetomidine used IV, in a ratio of 1: 1 atipamezole to medetomidine . Haven't seen any re-sedation on this dose. We reversed with 5ml (2mg atipamezole and 6.25mg) per ml IV and naltrexone 0.5ml which I think we can start using as standard doses, as with other species.
