Chris Perkins, [30 May 2024 at 10:51:08]: Hi. I am wondering on which animals you have safely used Bravecto. Or conversely, which animals you have had negative effects from Bravecto usage. I am currently having nasal mites returning in walrus even after clearing them with ivermectin. I am thus looking at other options. Peter Rogers, [30 May 2024 at 12:21:45]: Hi. On that note, has anybody used Bravecto for mango worm infestation please? Henry Labuschagne, [30 May 2024 at 12:41:18]: Hi Peter. I have used it in a dog some time back and it seemed to have worked. Peter Rogers, [30 May 2024 at 12:44:24]: Thank you Henry 👍🏻 Rob Jackson, [30 May 2024 at 12:47:45]: I think it inhibits infection as I think dipping or Spot-On applications do. I have never tried to treat in dogs, as it is self-limiting. There is no science involved here, so very subjective! Chris Perkins, [30 May 2024 at 13:06:56]: I have used it numerous times in dogs with severe blow fly maggot infections (in Hong Kong). It worked really quickly. The maggots burrow deeply into the skin, but all just fell out. I did not get the same effects when using ivermectin or insecticides (I can’t recall what I used) Andreas Gaugler, [30 May 2024 at 13:36:53]: With Bravecto use, I definitely see a decline in mango worms in areas where those that do not use it have problems. This is not scientific I know!
