Abdulrahaman, [3 Apr 2025 at 18:58:50]: Good day, professional colleagues. This six-month-old hyena was presented to me with a complaint of a swollen digital area of all four limbs. This was noticed on the morning of presentation. The case is now of 3 days duration. On the first day, I noticed that all the digits were swollen with bruises on some of the digits of the forelimbs. I placed the hyena on meloxicam tablets (thanks to some colleagues for their suggestions) and we did routine wound dressing and treatment using topical drugs. We noticed improvements, especially around the digits. However, the client called me today and complained that the face of the hyena is swollen. Please I need advice or suggestions on the next line of action.
